Children’s book author and illustrator, Barbara Lynn Greif, was born and raised on Long Island. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the renowned “Parsons School of Design” in New York City.
After she graduated, she gained experience in a variety of jobs, including working as a graphic designer, a toy designer, a product and package designer and an art director.
Barbara then started her own business, a full-service Long Island based advertising agency named “The Sketching Pad”. As art director and head designer for a successful fifteen years, Barbara earned her agency over 25 design awards.
Barbara is married and has two children. She is the author and illustrator of the award winning children’s books, Born From The Heart and Gianna’s Magical Bows.
